On September 29, Archbishop Borys Gudziak, the Ukrainian Catholic Metropolitan of Philadelphia, shared his reflections from his recent visitation of Ukraine. He focused on the Russian war against Ukraine, its moral and material consequences and human cost, and the possibility or impossibility of a just peace and of mending “the wounds of the war.”

His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk led a Prayer Service for Hope and Perseverance, Peace, and Justice in Ukraine with Ukrainian Catholic Bishops of the United States: Metropolitan-Archbishop Borys Gudziak, Bishop Venedykt Aleksiychuk, Bishop Paul Chomnycky and Bishop Bohdan Danylo.
